ABOUT

HOW IT STARTED

Dean Parmiter

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by learning how things work. When I was a kid, growing up on my family farm in Ohio, I used to take apart anything I could find, and put it back together just to see if I could. My days working on my family farm also instilled a strong work ethic and where I learned the importance of teamwork.

My passion for building and creating led me to find my career as an engineer. After graduating from Bucknell University with a BS in Civil Engineering, I entered the field of construction management. Working in construction management allowed me to bring together my formal education, love of building and my strength in leading teams. During this time, my most proud accomplishments included: Mercy Medical Center New Impatient Tower, Blacktip Reef Exhibit at the National Aquarium, von Trapp Brewery and Bierhall and University of Vermont Medical Center Miller Building

In 2018, I had an opportunity to expand my career and combine my passion for engineering with my love of the outdoors. I joined Vail Resorts as a Project Manager on the Hunter North trail expansion. Finding success in the Ski Industry, after the construction project wrapped, I joined Vail’s Hunter Mountain full-time as their Director of Mountain Operations. In this role I led incredible teams and oversaw all on-mountain operations such as snowmaking, grooming, lift maintenance and guest safety. As a bonus, in the off-season, I was still able flex my project-manager muscle through Capital Investment project leadership.

In 2022, I bet on myself, and started my own business. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and with a unique background in both project management and operations leadership, I set out to help companies execute best in class projects by bringing together my engineering expertise, my experience in construction management, and my ability to work across teams in service of a common goal.
